Information Collection and Use

Twiget is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect minimal information necessary for organizing your Twitter/X video collections. All your collections and bookmarks are stored locally on your device.

Video Bookmarks and Collections

When you save video bookmarks:

Only the video link and your custom organization data are stored
All collections are saved locally on your device
We don't store copies of videos or access their content
Your bookmarks and tags remain private to you
No tracking of your viewing habits or preferences

Data Storage

Your collections, bookmarks, and custom tags are stored both locally on your device and optionally synchronized through iCloud if you choose to enable this feature. You have complete control over your data and can delete collections or individual bookmarks at any time. We do not have access to your personal collections or bookmarked content.

iCloud Synchronization

If you enable iCloud sync:

Your collections are synchronized across all your Apple devices signed in with the same Apple ID
Data is encrypted in transit and stored securely in your personal iCloud account
We cannot access your iCloud data - it remains private to you and Apple
You can disable iCloud sync at any time through your device settings
Local backups are always maintained on your device regardless of iCloud status

Third-Party Services

Twiget uses publicly available metadata (such as video titles) solely to organize bookmarks. We do not access, store, or interact with video content. Any link verification is performed without downloading or reproducing media content.

Device Permissions

Twiget requires the following permissions:

Storage access: To save your collections and bookmarks locally
Network access: To verify Twitter/X video links and retrieve metadata
Clipboard access: To easily paste video links (only when you actively paste)
iCloud access: To optionally synchronize your collections across your Apple devices (requires your consent)

These permissions are used solely for organizing and managing your video collections.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes become effective immediately upon posting.
